Ok because its the national day in portugal the 10th of June is a holiday, so we had three days.
We stayed in Madrid and from here we can get to anywhere.
We took off From oporto with Tap Flight TP1008 ( Don't forget TAP is a member of staralliance :) they always repeat that....)
We arrived at Madrid anf lost a hour of our life becase in Spain it a hour later ...
The check in was after 15:00 so we had a bit of time to spend.
Install the Metro de Madrid App (The official one) in your smartphone. Its well made and you don't need paper.
A two days ticket was 12.40 i think.
We went to Atocha and left there the luggage Atocha Renfe is the train station .

Its best to buy the train ticket one day earlier because you can not have seat on the day. Yeahh many people go to Toledo

The security is tight and all of your bags are inpected on the x ray machine! You know why. Signs of the ages! The you have to wait to board. the lines are indicated on the screens and when it appears you direct yourself to the boarding gate where a nice lady says BUENOS DIAS and passes your ticket to the code bar reader. If all is ok you can find your seat in a beautiful train.
The trip is very fast. If you sleap the voyage almost seams like a Start Treck Teletransport... Geek Reference.
