First guided tour

Well... we almost missed it... Guide's fault! We were sitted on the upper level waiting for some kind off a call.. it never came.. we were looking at the map and thw gathering point was there.. so my friend went to the bus driver and asked information... he said the guide left 1 minute ago. So we run to find the guy named diego that forgot us ... he was not very far away. We arrived with a smile.... said ... HELLO DIEGO ( the bus driver told us his name)..we was surprised and we like good portuguese people follow the english Queen advice- KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON. NO HARM DONE. He would compensate on a later tour.

We arrived at the starting plaza where se have the typical worldly food. MAC , Burger king. From this plaza we can take the bus, the taxi and arrive by foot at the train  station

Diego was talking to us, asking where we were from when feom nowhere a spanish guy very angry arrives.. he was sitting near us on the bus with the same bracelet..ok😠😡😤. He started criticizing the guide in front of all us..WHY... generating a bad mood in all. He could speak later with him ...or place a complaint.. but he was right i have to give him that.

This tour would be  short one from the food square to the three powers square.

On the bus

So as you can see the bus leaves the train station anf terminates for you in the city center.

You have two stops to take pictures. 

And what pictures can you take.

In the upper side of the image the bus goes two the outside hospital of Saint John ( not shown here)

Out of the train

So we step out of the train... to your right a wonderful building . Its the train station with the typical mudejar style!

So you enter the building. Your eyes go everywhere. It is a nice start to the visit .

Look at the floor
Look at the old ticket offices ..pay attention

Ok where shall we go from now?

Warning: dont buy maps outside in the platform it is not needed.

Go inside the train station and you have a turistic operator that is selling a package for 20 euros. There are others

We tried this and we did not regret it..

You have 3 options to arrive at the old city

By taxi
On foot 15 minutes to the right and always foward its not difficult
And by sightseeing bus

We bought the package of 20 euros... we got a sticker, a paper bracelet that gave us access to 6 sites a map and 3 guided visits at specifics times

If you have some money its the best ways to get to know things...
